Your new job
Your main tasks include guiding stakeholders in adopting harmonized Data Management practices. You'll identify opportunities where Data Management capabilities (master data management, data quality, data modelling, data governance, data literacy etc.) can enhance organizational efficiency, lead initiatives that promote data-driven decision-making, and share best practices, frameworks, and accelerators across the company. Central to your role is enabling the organization to realize the full value of all Data Management capabilities in a complex, collaborative environment.
We're looking for a Data Management Specialist who wants to solve complex, real-world problems to make life at home simpler. Join us on our journey as we level up our technology to enhance everyday experiences. Your primary focus will be on Data Governance, Data Literacy, and Master Data Management, and you'll report to the Data Management Manager. The impact of your work will touch homes and hearts around the world.
On a typical day, you will:
Contribute to the development and implementation of Data Management capabilities across a dynamic, global organization.
Collaborate with colleagues to help them work more efficiently by applying smart Data management processes, solutions and insights.
Strengthen and sustain a connected Data management network across IKEA, fostering alignment and shared purpose.
Champion continuous improvement by sharing tools, methods, and knowledge across the Data management community.
Promote consistency by guiding the use of proven development techniques, digital frameworks, and best practices.

What we'd like you to bring to the table
The role as a Data Management Specialist requires you to:
Have a great understanding and experience of data management capabilities. Preferably from large and complex organizations.
Good analytical skills combined with being structured and organized.
Share our values by promoting simplicity and fostering a spirit of togetherness.
Communicate, collaborate, and build strong relationships across a complex, cross-functional organization.
Clearly articulate the value of effective data management to both technical and non-technical colleagues, helping them understand and adopt best practices.
Confidently navigate multiple stakeholders and priorities, balancing diverse perspectives with ease.
A bachelor's or master's degree-or equivalent qualifications-in fields such as statistics, physics, mathematics, econometrics, computer science, or related discipline.
Minimum 3 years of experience in an equal or comparable position

It's a plus if you also possess:
Expertise in Master Data Management - especially in driving forward modern methodologies, strategic approaches, and cutting-edge technical tools.
Visionary mindset - able to see the transformative potential of digital and information technologies and draw inspiration to fuel innovation.
Change-positive attitude - curious by nature, unafraid to challenge the status quo, and committed to making a meaningful impact.
