Scania is on an exciting transformation journey where Data Management plays a crucial role in the future of the business. We are now looking for a Data Management Specialist to drive and implement our Master Data initiatives for Production and Logistics. As Data Management Specialist, you will play a crucial role in our business processes and IT transformation and in developing and implementing strategies, methods and tools for Information Architecture, Master Data, Data Quality and Data Governance.

As part of Scania 's Information Management team, you will improve our Data Management area, assisting us in by coordinating and collaborating with our cross-functional teams and the business users.

Your Challenge
As a Data Management Specialist, you will be responsible for driving and developing areas such as Data Governance, Master Data Management and Data Quality Management by developing Data Management structures and processes. This means that you will:
• Drive the shift toward structured data management by introducing strategies and frameworks across the P&L organization
• Collaborate cross-functionally with the business, IT and external partners to optimise data management processes and solutions
• Ensure established data governance policies, procedures, and decision-making structures are being followed
• Establish and utilize data management tools, such as data catalogue, data lineage, and data quality processes, in our business processes and IT transformation, aligning with target architecture?(PDM/PLM, MES, ERP)
• Support in establishing the P&L data quality organization, ensuring roles, training, and ways of working that are clearly defined and applied
• Contribute to information architecture by securing coherent and compliant information flows throughout all relevant systems and platforms
• Lead and support in data related activities within Scania's transformation journey and across other key projects
The Team and Workplace
You will be part of the Scania Information Management team within Global Industrial Development. The team consists of dedicated specialists who drive the development of data management in production and logistics.

About You
You have a solid understanding of complex business processes, end-to-end data flows and data management domains. With experience in Data Management, Data Quality Management, and Master Data Management, you are well-versed in data architecture, information modelling and Data Governance.
An understanding of how data and information is used in Production and Logistics flows is a plus.
As a person you are analytical, structured and proactive. You thrive in a role where you get to drive change and collaborate with both technical and business stakeholders. You have good communication skills and can communicate the importance of good data management to different parts of the organisation in an educational way. You are comfortable with both Swedish and English as working languages.
