Data Implementation Specialist - web and e-commerce

We are building up Volvo Cars online sales capabilities and driving the shift towards direct consumer sales. Our aim is clear - to provide customers with modern, flexible and hassle-free ways to own a car, whether through a Care by Volvo subscription, lease, loan or cash. What you'll do
Volvo Cars is looking for talented, highly motivated individuals with strong data implementaton skills and strategic thinking to join the web and online sales team working with volvocars.com.
In this role of Data Implementation Specialist, you will be a part of a larger Data Insights team and have full ownership of data collection across volvocars.com. You will work closely with the product teams developing volvocars.com to maintain high data quality by determining data requirements, setting up and validating tracking as well as maintaining clear, easy-to-follow documentation.
In collaboration with the wider Data Insights team, you will play a key role in transforming data about user engagement into business insights and actionable recommendations to improve the performance and the value of our digital experience.
You and your skills
To be successful in this role, you are detail-oriented and have a passion for solving complex problems, are curious and driven to learn and grow outside of normal duties, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Design and maintain tracking solutions and documents across volvocars.com
• Responsible for understanding the business requirements and implementation specs
• Experience with implementing and maintaining Google Analytics (and/or Adobe Analytics) and third party tags
• Collaborate with engineering partners, data analysts, and marketing partners
• Perform data quality audits and identify data collection issues
• Experience with implementing tags via tag management tools
• Experience with GDPR and data privacy regulations
• Beneficial if you have had experience in ecommerce and/or automotive industry and agile development teams.
You also have strong communication skills - oral, written, and presentation and are self-motivated, with the ability to work independently. You have an ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of engineers, product managers, program managers, subject matter experts and other cross-functional team members within a large matrixed organization.
