If so, Nordic Empire has an exciting opportunity for you to join our team and develop a wide variety of technical and business skills as our company grows.
Nordic Empire is a global e-commerce company with several brands related to home products, lighting and smart product designs involving electronic sensors. We are based in Stockholm and work together in an office with an open and collaborative environment. We are currently a small startup company so each employee will share a variety of general responsibilities in addition to their more specialized roles.
Our customer base is primarily English-speaking and therefore our web content, customer support and other operations are conducted in English.
As the company expands and identifies new brand opportunities we plan to develop our own products.
The Data Generalist position will be responsible for:
• Analyzing, organizing, verifying and compiling data and determining meaningful business trends
• Providing valuable insights to management about business decisions driven by data trends
• Customer support
• Placing and managing orders
• Marketing products (writing product descriptions, developing the brand, etc)
• Maintaining online stores
The position will begin with part-time flexible hours and transition to full time as the company scales up, with data work playing an increasingly large role over general responsibilities as the company grows and each trend represents a larger absolute impact on revenue.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Undergraduate degree or higher in science, mathematics or a related field
• Fluency in English
• 1-2 years experience in a technical related field or equivalent
ASSETS:
• Experience with data analysis software
• Experience with writing reports and memos and presenting data in a simplified and accessible format
• Experience with customer service and support
• Experience with photography and / or photo editing software for marketing products
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Experience working in a start-up environment: multi-tasking, fast learning, highly adaptable
