Food waste is one of the worst environmental issues of our time. Whywaste is a mission driven food tech startup that is working on eliminating food waste at retailers. We have developed several data driven solutions used by the largest food retailers around the world.
We are looking for data engineers and data scientists that are driven by reducing food waste. You will be working close with our Head of Data Science and the rest of the development team (Where a helping hand is always available!). The job will be challenging, but rewarding, as we try to set out to fight one of the world's largest issues. So we want you to have that little extra drive. While the specific technical skill requirements are not set in stone, we think that Python should be second nature and that you have some experience working as either a data scientist or as a data engineer.
You have significant experience in at least one of the following:
Pandas, Tensorflow & Keras
Computer vision
Devops & Architecture
Additionally any of the following would be a bonus:
Php and Laravel
PostgreSQL or MySQL
Google Cloud platform
