In Gothenburg, we have a specialized Future Tech team, which focuses on AI, Data Science and Data Engineering. We're now strengthening our Data Engineering deliveries.
In an early phase, we need to consolidate data and build and set up the environment for streaming the data. Therefore, it's important that you have an interest in data engineering and that you are able to see the bigger picture. Eventually, the data engineering scope will transform into a data science scope.
Basically, we have data in different formats that needs to be delivered to different places in different ways. The data could consist of time series or tabular data, among many other forms.
Qualifications
We are looking for new possibilities, and we consider new colleagues as a part of that journey. We want you to have a Masters or a PhD degree in Physics, Mathematics, Data Science, Complex Adaptive Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent fields. We also see that you have at least 1-2 years of experience from the area.
• Knowledge of the cloud platforms Azure and / or AWS
• Fundamental understanding of Extract Transform Load
• Experience with Docker and/or VM based software development and deployment
• Big data processing engines such as Apache Spark
• Experience in integration and orchestration of scalable data pipelines
• Experience in building, maintaining, and scaling Data Infrastructures
• Python, Scala, SQL, Postgres, Databricks, Linux, WSL 2, Protobuf
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English are important. Swedish is a plus.
• Knowledge and experience of various database systems and data solutions.
