Mölnlycke is now looking for a Data Engineer, based at our global headquarters in Gothenburg, Sweden, reporting within the Analytics & Data Platform team.

In this role
You will be part of a high-performing Data Engineering team responsible for designing, building, and operating data pipelines that power analytics, operational use cases, and enterprise platforms such as MDM. This is a hands-on engineering role with strong collaboration across Data Engineering, Analytics, Architecture, and business domains.

What you'll do
Key Responsibilities
Data Engineering & Pipelines
Design, build, and optimise scalable ELT/ETL pipelines using Snowflake, dbt, and Azure Data Factory
Develop high-quality, tested, and maintainable SQL and transformation logic
Use Python for automation, orchestration enhancements, and advanced transformations
Contribute to implementing agents to increase efficiency and improve quality

Integration & Platform Collaboration
Integrate data from enterprise systems such as SAP, Salesforce, Profisee/MDM, and other operational sources
Work closely with MDM, Analytics, and Integration teams to support end-to-end data flows
Contribute to shared patterns, frameworks, and platform standards

Quality, Reliability & Improvement
Implement monitoring, alerting, testing, and data quality checks as standard practice
Optimise performance, cost efficiency, and reliability of pipelines
Continuously improve ways of working through automation and reusable solutions

Agile Delivery & Teamwork
Deliver work through Agile ceremonies using Jira
Collaborate actively with other engineers, architects, analysts, and stakeholders
Contribute to a culture of learning, feedback, and shared ownership


What you bring
Must-have
Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake, dbt, Azure Data Factory (or equivalent tools)
Advanced SQL skills and solid data modeling foundations
Python experience for automation and pipeline enhancements
Experience integrating data across multiple enterprise systems
Comfort working in Agile teams using Jira

Nice-to-have
Familiarity with Master Data Management concepts
Experience with Power BI or other BI tools
CI/CD exposure (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)
Interest in agent-based or AI-assisted automation
