hela Sverige We are looking for a Data Engineer to join our Ängelholm (or Stockholm) office to help build our next generation data processing platform. As a part of the Product department belonging to the Business Analytics team you will have an important role delivering key infrastructure and collaborating with colleagues from tech, analytics, marketing and finance.
As a member of cross-functional team in different companies in central Europe, you will also enable data driven business insights and decision making across our business units and will continuously interact with your peers for knowledge and resource sharing on high variety of projects. You will support our stakeholders as the data owner and be responsible for the structure in data consumption and consolidation across product development teams and our business units.

You and your team 's primary objective is continued development of our data warehouse to serve the whole organization with data, which in turn is central for our decision making. You will be a key player in increasing the sophistication of our marketing optimization, online customer acquisition and the adoption of advanced analytics across the enterprise. In relation to reporting operation you will deliver quality-controlled data from various internal and external data sources in close collaboration with business analysts. You will be working with multiple product verticals, brands and countries - daily.
Your work entails:
• Assist teams with data analysis and gathering numbers, facts and contextual information to enable decision making and contribute to the accuracy of data
• Serving as an analytics expert for your colleagues and partners, using numbers to generate insights, to help them make logical predictions, critical recommendations and to make good decisions
• Knowledge management in order to understand and maintain data environment needed for analytics and increasing transparency on data flows and integrations
• Need to have a strong interest in understanding your customers, their products and the business model in detail to properly evaluate business requirements and implement functional specifications for reporting applications
• Development of data warehouse solution on Snowflake and improvement of data delivery to Power BI which are our main platforms in use.
About you
Minimum 3 years of professional experience in a similar role
Master's degree in Applied Mathematics, Data Science, Computer Science, Econometrics, Statistics, Informatics, or any other related field
Experience using any of following technologies: Snowflake, DBT, Python, AWS - is a plus
At least basic experience in building non-trivial data pipelines, using data warehousing architectonical concepts and data modelling
Very good practical knowledge of SQL, indexing and query optimization
Strong analytical skills and a data-driven mindset
Fluent in English
You are often described as a person who loves complex problem solving. You are curious and interested in learning new things; you like to keep updated with new technology and you take ownership in everything you do, whether as a project or learning path. You are structured and can explain complex matters in a simple way, yet find the fine line between speed and quality.
You have probably been working with similar tasks, above mentioned, for a couple of years. Of course, you have a genuine interest in database management and design. You possess skills ETL/ELT (extract, transform and load) workflows and you understand, scrutinize, model legal business rules and logic.
You have in depth experience with SQL database fundamentals, if you have been working with Snowflake and DBT it will be seen as a merit. Other people see you as a communicative, multi-tasker who is good at keeping deadlines.

We require that you speak and read fluent English and Swedish for this opening as we work in an international environment. This is a full-time hybrid position based in Ängelholm (or Stockholm) and you will report to Head of Business Analytics. Some travel in this position may occur occasionally.
