Are you ready to be a key part of building up a new organization within the Data Analytics area?
We are now looking for a Data Engineer with interest in the data science area, who is ready to take their skills to the next level!
Our Development Unit develops the software that controls, supervises and analyzes base station functionality, which enables our mobile networks around the world. These mobile networks handle huge amounts of data, are the core to the accelerating digital transformation, and build our connected IoT society where everything that can be connected will be connected.
In this position you will belong to an agile, cross-functional team that covers data analytics, visualization and SW development, to be deployed in various products and micro-services.
What you will do
Belong to an organization where the teams work with analytics and machine learning use cases. You will join a team that supports the organization with services and infrastructure
Deploy and maintain services running on Kubernetes
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for the teams within our organization
Communicate with data scientists and data engineers to understand their current needs
Provide monitoring solutions to collect telemetry for the development/production environments, systems and products
Support teams in their cloud-native transformation
Keep up to date with best practices in the data science and data engineering community
Work with Services/infrastructure includes Jenkins, JupyterHub, ELK stack, Grafana dashboards but new services will be added soon.
You will bring
Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field
0-5 years of software development experience in data analytics production system
An interest in data analytics
Good knowledge of DevOps practices
A good understanding of how developer teams work with version control of both code and artifacts. In other words, how they collaborate using git, code collaboration tools (such as Gerrit, GitLab) and artifact management (such as JFrog)
Enjoy working with others! The team you will join strive for regular pair/mob programming sessions and shares tasks
Strive to help and support our developers when they encounter issues
Experience working with Docker and Kubernetes. Experience with any other tools listed above is a plus
Familiar with Linux
Excellent communication skills
Proficient in English, oral and written
