With over 8 million users worldwide and over 6 million catches, we have a rich and unique data set. In this position as Data Engineer, you will play a key role in taking Fishbrain's analysis and understanding of our data to the next level. You'll work cross-functionally, collaborating closely with product engineers, designers, marketers, and the finance team. We're looking for someone who is passionate about their work and enjoys an international working environment.*Please submit your application in English*Responsibilities:Contribute to the data warehouse design and data preparation, and assemble large and complex data setsAssist with the creation and maintaining of complex data pipelinesBuild the infrastructure and tooling required using Terraform, Airflow, Docker, SQL and cloud-based 'big data' technologies from AWS, Google Cloud and othersWork with data and machine learning experts to strive for greater functionality in our dataSkills:Relevant education with a degree in engineering or comparable skillsExperience as a Data Engineer or comparable positionsExperience in some or all of the technologies we use: AWS Redshift, MySQL, PostgreSQL Airflow, Python, TerraformExperience with Docker containers, orchestration systems, continuous integration and job schedulersWorking proficiency and communication skills in verbal and written EnglishOur Bait We have trust in our employees which means that 1.
