Ok, sounds cool but what about the role?
This is a role where you will be playing a significant role in designing, implementing, iterating, and improving the data lake and data warehouse in our company. Your daily responsibilities will include the data preparation for different consumers, including data scientists, software engineers and business & data analysts and help them to find the data they need. Nowadays, our technical stack consists of Python, AWS, Redshift, Postgres, Java and node.js.
Sounds like a good way of working right? Here's what we're looking for:
Experience with data warehousing, ETL processes, building and orchestrating data pipelines, pref aws glue or aws glue databrew
Fluent in Python, SQL and/or other relevant languages
Experience with relational database, schema design and dimensional data modeling
Solid knowledge of cloud based platforms like AWS, GCP or Azure
Hands-on experience with big data storage concepts such as Redshift, Snowflake, Big Query, or similar
Experiences that make you stand out from the rest:
Experience with event-driven architecture in the cloud
Experience in working with git/version control and in a ci/cd environment
Big plus if you have some experience with machine learning projects and building data science infrastructure
Understanding of microservices and APIs
Prior experience in the financial industry is an advantage
