hela Sverige Would you like to work for a company that is going places? Join a truly international team, and still work from Umeå? Sartorius is looking for an Data/Software Engineer to join our Corporate Research team in Umeå, Sweden.
In this role you will work with the Data management infrastructure set-up and maintenance is the first building block of the Data Lab construction on Microsoft Azure. In collaboration with the other members of the Data Lab team, the Data Engineer will provide support to other members of ADA, CR and also the whole Sartorius organization to set up data flow between the different data sources and the Data Lab data management system.
What you will accomplish together with us:
Develop and maintain the Corporate Research (Advanced Data Analytics) data lake infrastructure.
Monitor and optimise the data environment performance
Conduct internal training and support on data organisation and data processes
Contribute to the development of the data lake data processing API and the Rest API
Perform regular technological survey on innovative data management solutions.
What will convince us:
Demonstrated knowledge and experience in data Lake management
Bachelor degree or Master degree in Computer Science/Engineering or a comparable scientific field
Proven experience with modern software engineering processes and methodologies as well as database programming,
Strong, demonstrable, object-oriented and software development skills
Knowledge of one or more of the following cloud computing environment: Azure, Amazon Web Service, Google Cloud Platform.

Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and in writing
You are driven and results oriented.
