About us
At Volvo Car Sverige, you are part of a dedicated Sales team with the mission to develop Volvo's strong position among Swedish car buyers and Volvo Car Sweden has been market leaders for 76 years. As a national sales company, we are responsible for the marketing, sales and distribution of Volvo cars, accessories, spare parts and services on the Swedish market with over 200 Volvo dealers and workshops. Volvo Car Sverige has been tasked with driving the transformation of commercial operations in Sweden towards online and direct sales, in parallel with the electrification of Volvo Cars' product portfolio and continued investments in delivering a premium retail experience.
Volvo Car Sweden is about to move into a new business model, selling directly to end customers. This means challenges for the whole value chain, but also opportunities to improve the business. In the finance department, we aim to constantly develop and steer the business towards sustainable profitability, and now we are looking for a Data Driven Finance Analyst to the car business.
About the position
Data Driven Finance Analyst is expected to contribute actively to drive profitable business decisions primarily through sharp analyses.
The role covers both the new and used car business, but also both the sales company's business and our partners.
What you'll do:
In this role you will provide both finance and operations with data and insights to optimize the business. You will work in close collaboration with both sales and digital teams.
The role will be very central to develop finance into an agile and data-driven team that uses the best digital tools and avoids manual work.
Your main focus will be to improve margins throughout the entire value chain by reducing distribution costs and optimizing the revenue equation.
You will extract both internal and external data to provide valuable business insights. Work with Bi-tools to ensure quality in existing and future analysis models.
Financial planning, scenario simulation and monthly closing are also part of your responsibilities.
The role will develop continuously in step with new business models and areas such as risk, inventory and new KPI's will be added.
You and your skills
We believe you are an analyst with some years of experience with measuring data. You have an interest to bring data together from multiple channels to derive insights and learnings.
Further, you can use data visualization tools such as Power BI or similar, to bring the data to life.
You also have:
* Ability to understand large data patterns and an ability to move data into insights
* Experience in building dashboards, identifying new and tracking key metrics to closely monitor performance and identifying quick and long-term opportunities for improvements
* Demonstrated experience and ability to present and persuade complicated findings in a clear and concise manner to stakeholders
* Good understanding of accounting and finance concepts, principles, and processes
* Highly proficient in excel, numbers and data
* University degree in Finance, Computer science, Engineering or equivalent area
* Experience from direct consumer business is meriterious.
For this role, it's important that you are fluent in both Swedish and English (Verbal and Written).
