www.pomeroy.com.We are now welcoming applications for "Data Centre Operator" in Malmö. The role of Data Centre Operator includes, but is not limited to:
Media Management - Inserting and removing media per our customer's requests.
Hands & Eyes - Checks on servers, switches, routers, media libraries, etc. Reseating/replacing network cables.
Goods - Accepting and delivering technical equipment for installations and deinstallations.
Escorting - Escorting of engineers and technicians into the data centre who do not have access.
About you:
• You have a background in IT or are interested in IT.
• You must have a driver's license and access to a car.
• You must be fluent in both Swedish and English.
• You must be prepared for the possibility of working Standby.
• You can work under tight deadlines and can prioritize them.
• You can work on your own as well as with a team.
• You have good communication skills.
• You are a detail-oriented.
• You are trustworthy.
• You reside in Greater Malmö.
• Excel, Word, Outlook and Powerpoint are a must.
Salary information:
The starting salary is 20,500 kr/month and is non-negotiable. Employees who pass their ITIL exam will receive an additional 1,500 kr/month. Employees who pass their CCNA exam will receive an additional 4,000 kr/month. In total, with both exams the possible salary would be 26,000 kr/month. Pomeroy provides books, online training tools, equipment and training courses for these certifications.
If you currently hold a valid ITIL or CCNA/CCNP certification, the starting salary can be adjusted.
You will be stationed at the E.ON office in Malmö and will be a contracted worker for HP (Hewlett-Packard). Working hours are Monday - Friday 08:00-17:00. There is currently no shift pattern that would involve standby, however, on occasion, this may be necessary.
