Role mission
Data Center HW technician is the role that is operational in the daily work to handle and care for the data rooms in such way that the Data Center or data rooms can deliver the expected availability for hosted hardware and applications.
The Data Center HW technician manages operational change coordination, execution and operation maintenance activities. The work includes optimization of the operation for technical services to secure continuous operation improvements and follow-up on technical service oriented Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
The Data Center HW technician focuses on event, incident, problem, knowledge and change management processes, essential for runtime quality of the application infrastructure. The Data Center HW technician is also responsible for operational documentation for implemented infrastructure components.
The Data Center HW technician contributes with knowledge of the production environment, the technical services and technical services components in runtime. The Data Center HW technician ensures quality and continuous improvements with respect to availability, capacity, security, and IT service continuity in the delivered application infrastructure services. The Data Center HW technician interacts with application operation teams as well as teams working with infrastructure design and development. Furthermore, the Data Center HW technician secures compliance with agreed delivery times and performance targets.
Additonal
Data Center HW technician understands the access process and the data center routine. Good knowledge in English language both written and verbally.
