You share and live the IKEA culture and values and you are familiar with the IKEA Brand, culture, values and way of working.We believe you have proven education and training in information technology, computer science or equivalent and are experienced in open source and/or cloud-based solutions and working with different programming languages and applications as well as confident digging into code and have knowledge of how things are working. Experience in in Data Warehouse Design, Data Migration Design, MDM, analytics and Data Quality initiatives is preferred as well as in industry leading packaged solutions and working in an Agile or DevOps working set-up.You have knowledge in following areas:· patterns and archetypes for different types of data architectures e.g. streaming, IoT, big data analysis· standard patterns and services of the cloud offerings on Google, AWS and Azure· Understanding of the possibilities and restrictions of architecture solutions to develop a feasible architecture design· DevOps and agile development practices· IKEAs corporate identity, core values and vision of creating a better everyday life for the many peopleIn addition you develop knowledge and skills and uses new methods, digital systems and processes to improve performance. You perform work with care, accuracy and attention to detail and strive to meet quality standards and produce quality work products. You are aware of the fast moving data technology landscape and have the ability to capture, interpret and translate business requirements in terms of information, data and technical architecture, database technology and data model design as well as provide input to user-story prioritisation as appropriate based on new ideas, approaches, and strategies. You collaborates with others (incl. virtual) to achieve goals and have the ability to understand the complexity of IKEA business and the role of technology as an integrated part of the business. ABOUT THE JOBIn the role as Data Architect you will support the translation of the business operating model into reliable and robust data architecture structures, enabling deployment of data modelling tools, techniques and methodologies that will support the IKEA business.You will:· support the translation of the business operating model and business requirements into information- and data architecture solutions, including conceptual, logical and physical models· support the strategy, design and development of data architecture solutions, formalising the metadata descriptions and capture methods, registries and workflow· help with building and maintaining one or more data architecture solutions on the framework · support senior colleagues in collaborating with data managers and engineers in advising stakeholders, including Product Owners, on future data management technology options, outlining risks, costs, benefits, and capabilities· analyse and help define master data management strategies and models to diminish architectural risks and propose alternatives to improve the overall integrity of the data architecture· support review of the effectiveness of existing architectures and come up with improvements· help and work with senior colleagues in resolving incidents, requests and performing root cause analysis for data architecture issues within the agile team· work closely with other data architects and across functions to help produce all required design specifications and ensure that data solutions work together and fulfill business needs· work across initiatives within INGKA Group, steering solutions towards the correct architecture
