What you will do
Our team is developing next generation on-board diagnostics and data platform. Our team members bring experience from various areas of automotive development, as well as from other fields. We strive to shine multiple lights on any given problem and have and open dialog when finding solutions. As a member of the on-board diagnostics and data platform team you will develop, and test building blocks used for in-vehicle data collection, measurement and diagnostics.
What do you need to bring with you
You need to be a skilled programmer with high analytical skills in HW and SW design. You need to be good at:
* C/C++ and Python
* Knowledge in low level as well as application layer of software development
* Electronic hardware knowledge including microcontroller configuration.
You also need to have Valid European driver's license B.
What is nice if you know
We use many tools and apply many standards. We do not expect that you know them, you will learn them on the job. Examples of tools, frameworks and standards that we use are:
* Unix/Linux/QNX
* Data collection and analysis
* Automotive diagnostic and measurement protocols
* DLT (Diagnostic Log and Trace)
* CI- tools
* Network communication (CAN, Ethernet etc.)
* ASAM compliant tools such as ETAS Inca, Vector CANape, ATI Vision etc.
* Volvo DSA
* Agile methods including DevOps
Who are you
You are flexible, have good communication and documentation skills. You have a positive attitude and are a supportive person to your colleagues.
You are eager to learn with a growth and agile mindset and have a genuine interest helping Volvo cars reach its goals in the data collection journey.
We work with the agile development method SAFe so an understanding or certification is meritorious.
