A typical day
Under the direction of the Director Internal Audit, you will be responsible for developing the approach and methods for data analytics in internal audit. You will support the Internal Auditors with gathering data and performing data analytics for the individual assignments.
Some of your objectives will be, to be an expert in data analytics within Management Assurance & Special Assignments (MA&SA) and be up to date with the latest developments, tools, and methods. Always be up to date with Electrolux system landscape and maintain a network of contact persons in IT and the assigned functional areas. You need to define, enhance and execute the process for requesting, retrieving and cleansing data. Build templates, visualizations and reports in relevant tools (e.g. Qlik, Disco, Aaro, Excel) and run projects to improve analytical capabilities and test out new approaches
Some of the key operational responsibilities:
• Support the Internal Auditors with gathering and cleansing data.
• Perform the analysis and present findings and conclusions to internal auditors.
• Develop and maintain the processes related to data analysis (e.g. requesting data and cleansing data).
• Develop and continuously enhance data analysis and digital tools relevant for the assigned internal audit areas.
• Develop and maintain documentation of processes, tools, contact persons and related other matters related to his/her scope of work.
Experience required
• Degree in Engineering, Business or Data Science.
• 2 years or more experience from relevant work.
• Fluent in English. Additional language a plus.
• Experience and/or formal degree relevant to data analysis.
• Experience with Excel and visualization tools such as Qlik, Tableu or Power BI.
