As Data Analyst, you will perform analytical research and convert data into information that can be intelligently used by our business. These insights will be applied toward building strategies, decision making and to supporting decision-making capabilities. This is a newly established role within our company and we are so excited to welcome you and this position onboard.
Your main responsibilities will include:
• Prepare source data for computer entry by compiling and sorting information
• Establish entry priorities
• Enter data into spreadsheets
• Clean excel files. Verify entered data by reviewing, correcting, deleting or reentering data
• Research and evaluate received data
• Provide excellent service to your colleagues with data to support their decision making
• Prepare and submit reports as required
• Improve and streamline processes to achieve deliveries, lower prices or higher quality
• Calculating volumes, keeping track of stock, monitoring news and trends and material cost analysis

To be successful in this role, we believe you are a self-motivated, proactive person with a strong business minded skillset. You are data oriented, communicative and solution oriented. You have a service-mined approach and you are good at explaining figures to others.
Your Knowledge and Skills:
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Finance, or related field
• Advanced user in Excel, experience with creating and maintaining spreadsheets and data modelling
• Ability to interpret and analyze complex data sets and knowledge of database management systems, database structures
• Understanding of MPN nomenclature within the electronics industry
• Ability to identify patterns and trends in data
• Familiarity with purchasing and supply chain principles
• Capacity to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Highly skilled in relevant digital tools and MS Office
