About the role

We are now looking for Data Analysts in our new organization Business Tech - in the product area Inventory Optimization within the Customer Fulfilment domain. As a Data Analyst, you will work in a cross-functional, multi-competence product team consisting of Engineers and Business Experts. Your mission is to support the team with data as well as business analyses to ensure software solutions are generating actionable and value-enhancing results for our customers and business.
Inventory optimization's responsibility covers solutions and improvements from replenishment, through stock optimization and fulfilment of orders to customers, stores, and partners. Inventory Optimization's mission is to make all inventory sellable and available for H&M Group customers in the most profitable and sustainable way possible.
Your insights will drive decision making within the order sourcing and availability processes together with the product team. You will belong to a product but work much independently together with stakeholders from other products and divisions.
As a Data Analyst you have great analytical skills, believe in a non-hierarchical culture of collaboration, transparency, safety, and trust. Our focus is on value creation, growth, and serving customers with full ownership and accountability to deliver exceptional customer and business results.
Responsibilities
You have a strong customer focus, a strong commercial mindset and innate curiosity. You will work with large data sets to analyze information, visualise ideas and make recommendations for the future. Since you will handle a lot of complex data, it is important that you possess the ability to transform it into an easily understandable format for a variety of stakeholders.
Empower stakeholders to improve the customer value through expert analyses of various types of customer data
Analyse and help designing best logic and algorithms for order fulfilment strategy
Advocate data-driven decision making through for example experimentation and other quantitative analysis
Be the go-to persons for analysis within the order fulfilment and availability area
Design and visualise the products' KPIs and present the what, why and how to improve these
Support in analysis and verification of model output to improve accuracy of model
Identify commercial opportunities leveraging data and models
Provide data insights for technical solutions and system improvements to improve the customer experience based on interpretations
Support the Product Owner in setting the roadmap and strategy for the product team through data-driven insights

We are looking for you with

4+ years of work experience as a data analyst, data engineer or business analyst preferably within retail, supply chain or similar
A strong motivation to work in an environment that allows you to work and take decisions independently
A strong customer focus and commercial mindset
Experience of - and/or high interest in - working with advanced analytics and AI or forecasting methodologies
Proven track record to be a great team member
Proven track record of analysing large amount of data
An analytical, creative and curious mindset in combination with a strong foundation in statistical methods and data processing
Good knowledge of data-querying using SQL
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain data and its implications to a big group of stakeholders
Experience in data visualisation, preferably with excellent knowledge of Power BI
Communicativeness in English, both spoken and written

It is a benefit if you have one or more of the following:
Experience working with Azure Databricks
Experience of agile development methodologies
Experience in supply chain, retail, sales, store operations and/or stock management
Experience of Python
