Data Analyst that we are looking for to the H&M Brand Business Analytics team!

The Business Analytics team provides decision support to many of H&M's key activities and initiatives by performing analyses on sales, product, customer and competitor data. As a data analyst for the group's biggest brand, H&M, you will analyse large data sets to provide actionable insights for our different business functions and management at the head office. As you are part of the overall H&M Brand organisation (hence not tied to a specific department) this is a unique opportunity to learn about and influence our many different business areas. You will also take part in making H&M a more data driven organisation and in creating new business opportunities.

What will you do?
• Transform business questions into analysis that results in actionable insights.
• Analyse large data sets relating to sales, pricing, products/assortment, customers, competitors etc.
• Select, test and develop the best method or model for your analysis together with your manager and other team members.
• Work on the whole analysis process from start to finish. This means extracting, cleaning, sampling, analysing and presenting your data.
• Be the analytics expert in cross-functional projects and initiatives.
• Support the business functions with advanced analyses.
• Develop analysis methods and metrics for the company.
• Work closely with business intelligence, IT and business development teams to continue to develop our analytics infrastructure.

Who are you?
• You have an academic degree in a quantitative field, such as engineering, business, economics , finance or math/statistics.
• Relevant work experience as a business analyst, data analyst or similar, or other proven project experience through e.g. PhD.
• Confident in working with large data sets using SQL and extracting data by writing complex queries.
• Expert in analysing data in at least one of Excel/SAS/R/Python.
• Skilled in data visualization, experience with Tableau or other BI tool is an advantage.
• Good at presenting data to non-technical people.
• Confident in choosing the right analysis method and structuring your analysis.
• "Can do" attitude and not afraid of broad project scopes.
• You have an eye for detail without losing sight of the big picture.
• Ambitious and competitive, yet humble and curious.
• An entrepreneurial spirit, always striving to do things in a smarter and more efficient way.
• A team-player who believes in collaboration and enjoys discussion.

The position will be located at the head office in Stockholm city.
