The ongoing focus on a data driven business opens lots of possibilities. We are now strengthening our department with a team solely focusing data and analytics. To this team we are now recruiting an additional Data Analyst/Product Specialist for Data Governance who is willing take an active part in our journey to become more data driven and strengthen the Transaction Services offering.
About the role
The market is under great transformation and the expectations on SEB as a future banking partner is constantly changing. Increasing customer demands and expectations drives focus on innovation and fast product development, whilst we need to maintain excellent in delivery. We believe that data and information is key to reach the next level of our offering and to be regulatory compliant.
As a Data Analyst/Product Specialist you will take part in the exploration of how to make use of new technology and data to support SEB to become more data driven. As such you will be working closely with other Product Managers and other Product Specialists in your team but also collaborate with the different product specific teams as well as many other units and stakeholders such as the Technology division, Client Services, Sales, Operations. From time to time be our representative in different forums. Lastly you will also be responsible for executing on the data roadmap as defined in our Product Plans, ensuring innovation, a high quality and cost-efficient product offering.
The role is part of an agile organization and will be reporting to the Head of Analytics, Reporting and Customer Integration, within Product Management & Business Development. We are part of Transaction Services, LC&FI and our tasks and responsibility often span across the SEB Group.
Who are you?
To succeed in this role, you need to have a strong personal drive, excellent collaboration skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with different stakeholders cross the bank. You also need to have a good understanding of what it means to work with data and information, which you have built from 1-2 years' work experience working in a similar position, and/or with large amounts of data and analysis. Being able to understand and further develop data transformations with the purpose of increasing data quality and withdrawing value from it, is a key success factor in the role. If you have previous experience working in financial industry, that is a merit.
Naturally, but without being an expert, you find it very interesting with new technologies, concepts and how it affects the financial industry.
