As we continuously grow and transform, so does our need for the right data and business insights. To cover this need, we are now looking for two Data Analysts to our business function Global Business Services (GBS). GBS is the service partner to the entire Essity organization, delivering services within Finance, Human Resources, Workspace and Master Data. As a Data Analyst you will work with global internal stakeholders with operational as well as explorative tasks, applying your understanding and proficiency in data analytics. Accordingly, since this is a new role, you will have a central responsibility in developing our future ways or working and support our stakeholders in becoming more data driven. You will also join projects together with the research centre AI Innovation of Sweden, of which Essity recently became a founding partner.You report to the Business Process Automation Manager within GBS Service Excellence and this position is preferably located in Gothenburg. Since your stakeholders will be around the world, some travel will be required, but most of the times we use Skype, video etc. for meetings. The two positions could potentially have different levels of experience and expertise areas.

Main Accountabilities and Responsibilities
Work closely with key stakeholders in the business to identify analytics use cases and understand their data
Create insight through applying data mining tools like classifiers, regression analysis, decision trees, machine learning and neuronal networks
Be the link between data domain experts, business people and IT specialists, like Data Scientists and Data Engineers, to deliver analytics projects according to business needs
Visualize the insights in tools like Power BI
Develop the data analytics field and the role over time, you will have a great opportunity to influence and build up this work area!
Key Competencies
0-5 years' experience in data analytics
University degree or equivalent in Information Technology, engineering, physics or mathematics
Knowledge in data mining and machine learning
Good knowledge of programming languages and data bases such as, Databricks, Python, SQL, TensorFlow
Holistic thinking and an interest in understanding the full value chain
Ability to communicate in big projects and multi-cultural environments
Customer driven and experience of customer interaction and delivery
Experience in working in virtual teams is an advantage
Fluent in English
Leadership Capabilities within the projects
Has courage, makes decisions, is determined and shows perseverance
Communicates efficiently, conveys a message, inspires and motivates and influence others
Takes responsibility and is accountable, holds people accountable and drives continuous improvements
Builds effective teams, sets directions and empowers people
