The data analyst intern should assist in an effort to understand and learn how to identify, implement and validate KPIs to demonstrate the achievement of business goals.
Essential Responsibilities:
The intern will be given the opportunity to turn data into insights & recommendations to help Ecommerce or Product teams prioritize web optimizations. The candidate will gain exposure in working with Adobe Analytics (Omniture), Google Analytics, Marketo, and SFDC. Furthermore the intern will work with troubleshooting and providing support for Adobe Analytics & Google Analytics, including Ad-hoc analyses and automated reports.
We are a team of project managers, content managers and front-end / back-end developers based out of Uppsala, working on maintaining and enhancing gelifesciences.com digital properties. As a data analyst intern, you will also be in contact with IT teams in Krakow, Poland and Bangalore, India.
Responsibilities:
Assist in creating and maintaining data visualizations with actionable KPIs as dashboards
Assist in improving efficiency and automation of weekly, and monthly KPI reports
Assist in supporting scrum teams to identify tracking improvements, new implementations, and validate analytics
Assist in data management, data quality, and data reporting for eCommerce, Online Marketing, and Product teams
Assist in support of ad-hoc reporting requests and end-user inquiries
Assist in creation and maintenance of analytics documentation/training materials
Qualifications/Requirements:
Pursuing or received a Bachelor?s degree in marketing or math with appropriate study in business analytics
Experience reporting performance of digital marketing campaigns or website optimizations (A/B or Multivariate tests)
Familiarity with web analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics
Strong Microsoft Office skills (word, excel, powerpoint)
Strong written/oral communication skills
Knowledge of SQL a plus
Comfortable working with large raw data sets and knowledge if basic relational database concepts
Interest in data visualization tools such as Tableau, QlikView or similar
Ability to work on multiple projects at once
The internship is for six months and begins August 15th, 2016.
