Stora Enso Logistics is looking for Data Analyst to work with data modelling in our Network and Routing team. Our teams focus is to optimize logistics route network in terms of sustainability, cost-effectiveness and service reliability. You will contribute to our business by capturing and transforming thousands daily transactions to comprehensive and measurable KPIs and management level dashboards and reports. In Logistics you work with all transport modes and Stora Enso business divisions.
The position is a full-time permanent employment based in Gothenburg, Sweden or Tallinn, Estonia, and offers highly meaningful work in an international environment, as well as opportunities to get a proven base of logistics business, to grow and develop expertly within the company.
Tasks
The position involves a large variety of both complex tasks and more standardized ones. You work within a team towards same targets - optimize Stora Enso logistics network. Your tasks include developing ETL processes, connecting databases, data modelling, and building business intelligence tools. Additionally, you assist strategic & tactical level decision making with your analyses and forecast models. The work is partly project based and including collaboration with multiple stakeholders within IT, Logistics, Controlling, Sales & Supply Chain.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you have a university degree in relevant area, such as data science, business controlling, engineering or another technical field. We prefer you have a few years of work experience within data modelling and since you will be our expert in data you must understand data connections and business intelligence. Quick learning of different IT systems is required as well as advanced knowledge of Excel, databases (SQL, Azure, Access) and at least some basic knowledge of programming. Experience from network optimizing tools (such as Supply Chain Guru) and building dashboards with for instance Power BI or Qliksense is an asset.
As a person, you are stress resistant and have good interpersonal skills. You can demonstrate a genuine drive and have a "can do" attitude with good planning and organizational skills. You have experience of and enjoy working in a matrix organization and perform with changing environment and assignments. You communicate fluently in English, additional language knowledge is considered a plus.
The ideal candidate has excellent analytical skills, is highly structured and detailed, works enthusiastically with improving data management, has knowledge in programming and interest in AI & machine learning and is willing and able to take lead in different initiatives.
