You will take responsibility to develop our data analyst skills and create a roadmap. This is an important part of our ambition to reach our future vision of next generation machines and business model. This will include detailed work with colleagues cross Cargotec organization to new algorithms and reports as well troubleshooting data issues. To do well in this role you need a very fine eye for detail, experience as a data analyst, and deep understanding of the popular data analysis tools and databases.The location of this position is Ljungby however you should have the ability and willingness to travel to various Kalmar organizations and locationsMain tasks and responsibilities: Use statistical methods to analyze dataCollecting and interpreting dataReporting the results back to the relevant members of the team, business line or managementIdentifying patterns and trends in data sets as well assess potential risksWorking alongside teams within the business or the management team to establish business needsDefining new data collection and analysis processesActive role in selecting tools to develop our data but also reporting tools for our business Be able to collaborate in an open working environmentAbility to translate business requirements into non-technical, lay terms. What you'll need to succeed:Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Computer Engineering or equivalent experience Work experience in Data mining Work experience in a data analyst roleAbility to collaborate effectively and work as part of a teamStrong attention to detailDemonstrated experience in handling large data sets and relational databases.Programming languages such as SQL and others. We are moving towards an Amazon cloud tool set up+5 years' work experience as a data analyst in a similar role and industryConsultancy / Collaborative approachFluent in English.
