Who are we?
Volvo Cars is a company on a mission; to bring traditional car manufacturing into a connected, sustainable and smart future.
Since 1927, we have been a brand known for our commitment to safety, creating innovative cars that make life less complicated for our consumers. In 2010, we decided to transform our business, resulting in a totally new generation of cars and technologies, as well as steady growth and record sales. Today, we're expanding our global footprint in Europe, China and the US, and we're on the lookout for new talent.
We are constantly pushing our own skills and abilities to drive change in the automobile industry like never before. We are looking for innovative, committed people to join us in this endeavour and create safe, sustainable and connected cars. We believe in the power of people and will challenge and support you to reach your full potential. Join us and be part of Volvo Cars' journey into the future.

Let's introduce ourselves

Help us shape the future of mobility
At Volvo Cars, we're on an exciting journey to shape the future of mobility. We're building direct relationships with customers, and aim to be a leader in new technology. It's so exciting - we're well on our way on our journey towards full electrification. Join us and become a part of our vision for the future - a future that's both exciting and a catalyst for positive change.

What you'll do

You will lead the transformation of Finance towards modern ways of working with data and analytics by upskilling talent, delivering impactful solutions, and promoting data literacy through the right balance of enablement and delivery.

Analytical Solution Development
Design, build and iterate insightful, reliable dashboards using tools such as Power BI to support Finance decision-making (e.g., performance steering, forecasting, cost control). Perform data shaping and transformations in tools such as Power Query (and adjacent solutions) to deliver robust, reusable models (e.g., star schema, relationship management, performance optimization). Apply best practices in data modeling, performance optimization, and visualization to ensure clarity and trust.

Enablement & Data Literacy
Champion data literacy across Finance by coaching users, running training sessions, and fostering a culture of self-service analytics. Develop learning materials, host office hours, and build communities of practice to upskill Finance teams in Power BI, Power Query and Excel. Actively promote the mindset that being data literate is a key driver of cultural change.

Stakeholder Engagement
Partner with Finance stakeholders to understand needs, define requirements, and determine the right level of support (build vs. enable). Enable non-technical stakeholders by translating business goals into clear problem statements, metrics, and acceptance criteria. Guiding requests toward outcome-driven, solution-agnostic asks rather than predefined reports. Ensure solutions are scalable, sustainable, and aligned with PADD priorities.

Communication & Critical Thinking
Translate technical topics (data models, metrics logic, platform constraints) into clear, non-technical language and actionable recommendations for Finance leadership and operational teams. Facilitate requirements, playback and adoption sessions; document business logic, definitions and changes in a way that builds trust and minimizes ambiguity.

Change Management & Adoption
Act as a change agent to embed analytics in Finance processes-plan adoption campaigns, measure usage and integrate dashboards into the ways of working (rituals, cadences, and decision forums). Collaborate across Finance to standardize practices (governance, documentation, access, lifecycle).

What you'll bring

You would bring extensive and proven experience with Stakeholder Engagement. You would be fluent in English both verbally written along with clear and articulate communication skills.

You would also bring extensive user and development experience in Power BI.

You are a proponent and contributor to building a safe and inclusive team culture along with the ability to lead change managment training.
