The role
MAJORITY is looking for a Data Analyst, to join its risk product team in Stockholm.
Key Responsibilities
From a data perspective to support and enable the development of the risk product function at MAJORITY by:
Ensuring and preserving data quality
Performing data analysis on transactions, behaviors and risk rule outcomes
Developing scripts to detect fraud and potential money laundering and reduce loss and risk exposure.
Performing ad hoc deep dives on Risk and KYC related topics
Come up with creative ideas on how to proactively prevent and detect fraud and money laundering
Drive results with a proven ability to achieve both team and individual goals consistently
Act as the captain for Risk data and drive this agenda throughout the organization
Qualifications:
Minimum Bachelor's degree in relevant fields. Master's degree is a plus.
Minimum 2 years of experience as BI analyst/data analyst/data scientist or similar role
Ability to effectively work in team and create strong relationships
Proficiency in Looker or similar tools is a great plus
Proficiency in SQL, understanding of different database schemes
Proficiency in Python including data manipulation, numerical analysis and visualization
Ability to manipulate and tidy large datasets using a tool such as Pandas
Proficiency in DBT for ELT transformation
Ability to make basic statistical analyses
Experience in risk management or within the financial transaction industry is a plus
Interest in learning more about Machine Learning and its potential applications in the risk area
