What we do:

Our Media Insights team supports the entire data analysis process, from data collection and cleaning to modelling, analysis, and reporting. We provide guidance on how best to use data to achieve your business objectives, helping you make data-informed decisions.

With our flexible hybrid work policy, you can choose to work from home or our offices, and we'll support you in setting up your home office.

Our technology stack, designed for flexibility and user-friendliness, is composed of Snowflake for primary data storage, along with a variety of tools for data handling including SQL, Python, and R. We utilise various AWS services and sophisticated data transformation tools like dbt, complemented by best-in-class data visualisation tools like Tableau.

About you:

We are seeking a data analyst with at least 2 years of experience who is enthusiastic about using data to drive business outcomes and enjoys working in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

As a pivotal member supporting our Editorial Product Team, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Leveraging your expertise with data analysis tools, including SQL, to glean actionable insights that support our Editorial Product Team.

Utilising data transformation tools such as dbt to process and transform data into a more usable format for our editorial product initiatives.

Employing your mastery of data visualisation tools like Tableau to create understandable, impactful presentations that communicate data-driven insights to our team.

Utilising your knowledge of statistical analysis and modelling principles to interpret data trends and patterns, thereby aiding the Editorial Product Team in their strategic decisions.

Exercising your exceptional communication skills to articulate complex data insights to our team and stakeholders, ensuring that technical and non-technical members alike can comprehend and act upon these insights.

Implementing and analysing A/B testing results to help the Editorial Product Team refine their strategies and offerings.

(Advantageous) Using your experience with Python, R, or other data analysis programming languages to enhance our data analysis processes, further benefiting our Editorial Product Team.

Product & Tech is responsible for product development and technology platforms for News Media brands. The unit consists of product managers, software engineers, UX experts, and user researchers. Most of our teams work distributed, with colleagues in Oslo, Stockholm, Krakow, Gdansk, Bergen, and Stavanger.
