Busspart is the Nordic region's leading manufacturer of parts for buses as well as a contractor of qualified workshop services and painting mainly for vehicles in public transport. There operation in Varberg is Busspart's latest addition and is a modern and efficient facility with pleasant premises. Here you would help carry out damage repairs, conversions, installations and painting of buses from the whole country where quality, speed and a large portion of customer understanding is a part of the company success!
About the job
As a damage technician at Busspart you are a key resource as our customers expect professional service as well as great accuracy. The assignments varies and is often project-based, which means that your working day also varies. Of course, we would like to see that you have experience in, or alternatively a great interest of, working with sheet metal and damage of heavy vehicles as Busspart mainly handle buses.
Your work assignments
Carrying out damage repairs to the outside, chassis and interior of the vehicle.
Work with different materials such as steel, aluminium, fiberglass and plastic.
Actively work with documentation and work orders towards the customer/insurance company.
Welding in different materials.
Disassembly and assembly vehicles.
Who are you?
As a person, you are goal-oriented, orderly, self-motivated and carry out troubleshooting and repairs in a professional manner way with high quality. You are also responsive and service-oriented when it comes to customers and colleagues. You enjoy varied work at an often fast pace and appreciate the value of a good collaboration with your colleagues. You contribute with a good mood, high work ethic and ideas on how the business can be even better. To succeed in the position, you either need to have training with a focus on heavy vehicles or you have experience from the industry and has previously worked with damage repairs. You master welding, puttying and direction. Working with computers is easy for you as many aspects require this. And you make yourself understood in Swedish or English in speech and writing. Even if you don't have experience or feel like you've mastered all the steps personality is ultimately most important for this role.
