DICE is one of the world's foremost video game studios. What started as a small project in the 1990 s has through creating bestsellers as Rallisport Challenge and the Battlefield series made the company the number one game developer in northern Europe. Today 220 employees work on several game projects in a 5 500 m2 office with glass walls and fantastic view over Gamla Stan, Skeppsholmen and Saltsjön.
Beskrivning av arbetsuppgifter:
The D2C & Community Lead is a visible and strategic marketing role, which spans the product cycle from development to marketing to support to development, providing insight and direction for our direct to consumer revenue streams in the shooter category and helping to bridge the gap between Battlefield and its end users. A successful D2C&CM lead leverages this broad, long-term reach to drive objectives such as consumer retention, engagement in online gameplay, conversion to sale of post-release downloadable content, and support for the core packaged product's sales objectives.
The D2C&CM Lead has two primary responsibilities:
1) Partnering with and providing leadership for studio and product management teams to develop the post-release downloadable content strategy and pricing, and to provide reporting and insight on program results
2) Partnering with and providing leadership for the community managers focused on the community management within EA's shooter vertical to develop and execute an aligned community strategy, communication timing, and cross-marketing framework across our FPS titles.
Responsibilities:
• Plan and manage the execution of global digital content launches in the EA Games Label and content & community programs for Battlefield games
• Provide PDLC planning/reporting and community support for the EU launch of other shooter titles within EAGL as appropriate
• Collaborate with Online Marketing Managers, Product Marketing, Development partners and others to participate in product strategy development and launch activities.
• Partner with Product Marketing and Studio to develop downloadable content strategy and launch plans
• Draft integrated communication plans that reflect and support the unique needs and targeted messaging of PDLC for specified games.
• Measure content performance utilizing key interaction indicators such as PDLC sales, web traffic, email registration, game purchase, online play activity, and community engagement.
• Deliver regular reports detailing community news, reactions, and expectations around EAGL's shooter D2C efforts
• Be an expert in relevant gaming categories
• Serve as global franchise community lead; centralized point of contact for territory community managers, not a community manager making posts
Beskrivning av kvalifikationer:
Qualifications
• 3+ year game add-on marketing
• Videogame expertise, first-party experience, good understanding of broader entertainment industry: games, music, and movies, etc.
• Experience managing go-to-market planning and execution for digital products
• Demonstrated, expert writing skills. Samples will be required.
• Experience with successfully managing multiple projects and working directly with cross-functional teams.
• Experience working with high-profile strategic partners.
• Comprehensive understanding of online community as it relates to delivering business objectives.
