Cybersecurity Engineer - SKF Technology
SKF Technology is now strengthening the global Cybersecurity team as part of SKF's global Research & Development organization (SKF Technology). This role is focused around the security for our customer facing solutions and applications and making sure security is considered throughout development.
As Cybersecurity Engineer you will work with multiple stakeholders across SKF ensuring security long-term as well as providing hand-on support when required. You will be part of Digital Transformation Innovation (DTI), which includes around 100 people in total and has a driving role in the digital transformation of SKF.
Your day-to-day work
• Drive implementation of security for our products and solutions together with product development and operation teams (main focus is on Cloud/Apps but Sensors/Gateways are also included in the delivered systems)
• Coach and support development and operations teams across SKF Technology
• Ensure compliance of ISO 27K for our software products and operations
• Lead sub-projects/initiatives within the Information & Cybersecurity field (global perspective)
• Identify security vulnerabilities in our solutions and support remediation
• Support in incident follow-up activities for SKF Technology systems and applications
• Support pre-sales discussions with customers around cybersecurity
• Support the business with regional customization of solutions ensuring security
• Support in trainings around Information and Cybersecurity across SKF Technology

We expect you to have
• Few years of experience within the Information Security field and Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science/IT engineering
• Knowledge and experience in cloud security, platforms and services (preferably AWS)
• Knowledge and experience of working with different standards and legislations like ISO 27001, GDPR or other privacy regulations
• Knowledge and experience in threat modeling and secure development
• Knowledge about secure coding standards, for example OWASP
• Knowledge about at least one programming language such as Python or Powershell
• Good communication skills in English and strong ability to engage with others
• Experience from Agile ways-of-working is meritorious

Additional information for you
Location: Gothenburg, Sweden. Local contract.
You will be part of a global team with Cybersecurity engineers and System architects focusing on SKF's customer facing industrial applications world-wide. The position will require frequent collaboration and networking via Teams, telephone, and e-mail. Occasional travelling may be necessary.
You will report to the Manager - Architecture & Cybersecurity in Digital Transformation Innovation, SKF Technology.
