Cybersecurity Architect / Engineer
We are now strengthening our global Cybersecurity team as part of SKF's global Research & Development organization (SKF Technology Development). This role is focused on security for our customer facing solutions and applications and making sure security is considered throughout development. In this role you will work with multiple stakeholders across SKF ensuring security long-term as well as providing hand-on support when required. You will be part of Digital Engineering & Innovation (DEI), which includes around 170 people and has a key role in the digital transformation of SKF.
Your day-to-day work
• Design, implement and improve an effective combination of different controls to balance prevention, detection, and response
• Stay connected with the central SKF IT security unit and overlook enterprise defence holistically, but build security at the layer of our Technology Development organization
• Combining business and technical requirements in order to implement security measures together with product development and operation teams
• Coach and support development and operations teams within information security across SKF Technology Development
• Supervise sub-projects/initiatives within the Information & Cybersecurity field (global perspective)
• Identify security vulnerabilities and support remediation
• Support in post incident activities within our domain
• Engage in pre-sales discussions with customers around cybersecurity
We expect you to have
• Several years of experience within the Information Security field and Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science field
• Knowledge and experience in cloud security, platforms, and services (e.g. AWS or Azure)
• Knowledge and Experience in threat modeling and secure development
• Knowledge about secure coding standards, for example OWASP
• Knowledge and hands on experience in at least one programming language such as Python, Javascript, etc.
• Good communication skills and ability to engage with others
• Experience from Agile ways-of-working, e.g. in a DevOps position is considered as beneficial
• Information Security Certificatio is meritorious (GIAC, ISC2, CompTIA, etc.)
• Knowledge and experience of working with different standards and legislations like ISO 27001, GDPR is a plus
• English proficiency, good communication skills and ability to engage with others

Additional information for you
Location: This position will be located in Gothenburg, Sweden, or in one of the main SKF sites in Europe. Local contract.
You will report to the Manager Architecture & Cybersecurity in Digital Engineering & Innovation.
