Position
As a Solutions Architect (SA) you will be part of the Cybercom Internet Services group providing technical services and work directly with Akamai's customers to deliver Akamai solutions. You will lead the technical integration of Akamai customers' web sites with the Akamai network. You will work with Akamai enterprise customers to evaluate their web architecture, propose and deliver customer solutions, including evaluating the customers' content management and publishing processes, web application architecture, security requirements, DNS configurations, and providing detailed solution documentation that satisfies Akamai's customers' business and technical requirements. You will act as the single point of contact for all technical issues of Akamai's customer and technical deliverables with responsibility to resolve technical issues.
Internet Services is located in Stockholm, Malmö and Gothenborg. The position is based in Stockholm.
Your background
• strong technical background with a Bachelor in Computer Science or relevant engineering field, or equivalent work experience
• minimum of 5 years of IT solution delivery and support experience with extensive customer management experience and a proven ability to do hands on technical work when needed
• you have a full understanding of development methodologies, common web and application architectures with knowledge of HTML, DNS, SSL, XML, Networking, and Content Delivery and at least one of the following development languages: Java, J2EE, C, C++, C#, UNIX Shell scripting, Visual Basic, and/or .Net.
• you have an understanding of consulting best practices and an ability to lead technical projects and technical teams. You are action oriented and capable of solving complex technical problems both independently and in a team environment.
• You are fluent in English and at least one additional language eg French Spanish, German or ItalianYou have excellent customer management skills, an ability to build rapport and credibility with customers, document solutions and communicate clearly and effectively to both technical and business audiences.
