WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are seeking a talented and experienced Cyber Security Specialist to join our team. Given our fast-paced growth, our global ambitions, and our cutting-edge technology, this role will require determination and grit. Furthermore, we think you have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex situations and make informed decisions. At Exeger you will collaborate with team members and stakeholders at all levels of the organization, so we believe you have strong communication and interpersonal skills. Besides having the right personality to thrive, we want you to bring the following:
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Proven experience working in cyber security, with a strong understanding of information security principles and best practices.
• Hands-on experience with security tools and technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, antivirus software, and vulnerability assessment tools.
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations, such as ISO 27001
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH, CompTIA Security+, etc.) are a plus
WHAT YOU WILL DO
The ideal candidate will be responsible for protecting our company's sensitive information and ensuring the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of our systems and data. You will play a critical role in safeguarding our organization against cyber threats and attacks. You report to the CSO.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement cyber security policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and weaknesses in our systems.
• Monitor network traffic for suspicious activities and respond to security incidents in a timely manner.
• Install, configure, and maintain security tools and software, such as firewalls, antivirus programs, and intrusion detection systems.
• Collaborate with our IT team to ensure that security measures are integrated into all aspects of our technology infrastructure.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest cyber security threats, trends, and technologies, and make recommendations for improving our security posture.
• Manage and work closely with our MDR-solutions.
