The department Propulsion Energy System is responsible for development of major parts of hybrid and electric vehicle systems at Volvo Cars. The group Communication and Interfaces is responsible for delivering software and mechanical functionality and design, for both our inhouse and the supplier part of the design, for the on-board charger (OBC) and the DCDCs, wireless, EVI, Release Wire and much more in our electrified vehicles.
The on-board charger (OBC) is essential for electrified vehicles, it holds the functionality to charge the traction battery from the grid, and it is for sure of highest importance in a pure electric vehicle.
Both AC- and DC-charging are in current projects and wireless charging is already around the corner.
The EVI is the inlet for charging to commence and the release wire is the component as a fault release of the cable.
You and your skills
We are now looking for an engineer with expertise on the cyber security field, especially within automotive. Together with the other groups within the department, you will play an active role in implementing the cyber security management activities, in accordance to our cyber security statement of work. You will work in close relation with the Software release team, system requirement and design teams, the system architect team, and the system test team. We believe you have the following skills:
* -ISO/SAE 21434
* -Good knowledge on UNEC155
* -Data protection and law knowledge
* -Understanding and analyzing CS technical reports, algorithm analysis, feasibility studies, trade-offs, impact analysis, cybersecurity V&V analysis/plan/report
* -Know how to create threat analysis and risk assessment, automotive cybersecurity concept, specification, system vulnerability analysis, cyber security post production reports
* -Understand how to interpretate and analyze penetration reports and reverse engineering
* -AUTOSAR
* -UDS
Additionally, it's meritorious to have the follow knowledge:
* -Electrification/Charging standards
* -ISO 26262
