You are equally capable and comfortable holding a conversation with a software engineer as you are with senior digital stakeholders across product, tech and data organisations.
What we are asking of you:
Be responsible for identifying security and privacy risks in the domain of responsibility, drive remediation work and, when necessary, escalating them to the relevant level of management for decision making.
Be responsible to provide resources supporting teams with the design, development and implementation of Security and Privacy controls.
Lead and structure the work and reporting of security activities in the domain of responsibility.
Lead and structure the work and reporting of privacy activities in the domain of responsibility.
Lead and structure the work and reporting of compliance activities in the domain of responsibility.
Lead and structure the work and reporting on information risks and information technology risks in the domain of responsibility.
Secure the implementation of the global information security incident management process in the domain of responsibility.
Lead, coach and develop a team of Cyber Engineers, ensuring that all teams understand the overall direction, the value contribution and how to support and enable the digital strategy.
Inform, influence and consult with engineers, owners and managers on the Cyber Security topic driving a culture where security and privacy is the responsibility of everyone.
ABOUT THE JOB
The Cyber Engineering Manager belongs to the Cyber Security organisation with a matrix connection to our domain structure. Joining the domain leadership team as a permanent invitee to embed security, privacy and compliance into the decision-making process of the domain. The role will report to the Domain Cyber Engineering Manager, securing that aligned ways-of-working and processes are in place across our diverse landscape.
You will create the support structure in the domain, align objectives with domain management and lead the cyber engineering team. You will also work directly with engineering teams, supporting them in risk, security, privacy and compliance tasks as a senior cyber engineer to maintain and hone your own skills.

We achieve our goals by embedding our capabilities within the organisation at large, helping mature all our product teams to take informed, conscious decisions on risk.
