As a Customs Specialist, you will join the Customs team in Finspong, Sweden. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure compliance with customs rules and regulations when importing and exporting goods and technology. Your role supports the full value chain - from design and manufacturing to shipment of finished wind turbines. Your day will include hands-on operational customs activities, coordination with freight forwarders, and ensuring correct documentation and process compliance in a dynamic, international environment.
How You'll Make an Impact
* Handle operational customs clearances for import and export activities
* Manage and support Inward Processing Regime (IPR) activities
* Implement and maintain customs processes, including conducting sample checks and follow-ups
* Support the business by answering customs-related questions from internal stakeholders, suppliers, and freight forwarders
* Follow up on the closure of export declarations with freight forwarders
* Ensure accurate documentation and compliance across all operational customs tasks
What You Bring
* Experience with administrative tasks and a structured, detail-oriented approach to data handling
* Background in customs, logistics, freight forwarding, or international trade is an advantage, but not a requirement
* A Customs Diploma or willingness to obtain one as part of future EU customs legislation requirements
* A proactive, positive, and solution-oriented mindset with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines
* Strong coordination and communication skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
* Comfort working in a dynamic environment with changing priorities
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with SAP is an advantage
* Excellent English skills, both written and spoken

The team plays a critical role in supporting Siemens Gamesa's international operations and collaborates closely across functions to enable smooth and compliant global trade.
