The Global Customs Department is responsible for Global Governance and process development for all of Volvo Car Group globally in the field of Customs. We are now establishing a new team for Special Procedures that will be responsible in Europe for all activities relating to Special Customs Procedures such as Inward Processing, Outward Processing and End-Use as well as Origin solicitation and calculations, intrastat reporting and Material Master handling.
As a Customs Specialist you will concentrate on the collection of export data from suppliers for handling the Outward Processing, Customs classification and for providing necessary periodic reporting to Swedish and Belgian Customs for all special procedures. In addition, the work will include frequent contact with Volvo Cars' suppliers to receive origin information. You will work closely with the Governance team for classification and defining the optimal methodology for customs operations.
Main responsibilities
* Collect export data from suppliers for handling in the Outward Processing
* Provide information and report special procedures to Swedish and Belgian Customs
* Customs and declarations for Volvo Car Group
* Customs classifications
Required qualifications
* Advanced Customs experience, minimum 5 years of experience in an in-house customs declaration functions or equivalent
* Experience in Customs working with special procedures and/or classification
* Origin experience, Classification experience and experience in Special Procedures
Personal qualities
* Good communication and computer skills
* Ability to execute and ambition to perform and improve
* High integrity
* Open to change
