Are you passionate about international trade and compliance, and eager to make a real impact in a global organization? Then this is the role for you!
We are now looking for a proactive and knowledgeable Customs & Trade Advisor to join our team and help shape the future of our global trade operations. The position is a fixed-term assignment with an end date of November 30th, 2026.
About the Role
In this role, you will be a key internal advisor and operational expert, ensuring our international trade activities are compliant, efficient, and strategically optimized. You will work closely with teams across the organization, from Order Management and R&D to external customs authorities and trade groups - to support, guide, and improve customs and trade processes.
Your responsibilities will include:
Proactively identifying trade risks and implementing effective mitigation strategies.
Advising on global customs and trade issues, including documentation and regulatory requirements.
Initiating and delivering internal training programs to raise awareness and competence in trade compliance.
Ensuring compliance with international trade regulations through robust internal structures and oversight.
Supporting sites with customs documentation and maintaining processes for archiving and accessibility.
Managing export control routines and keeping internal compliance programs up to date.
Ensuring correct HTS classification and country of origin determination (preferential and non-preferential).
Gathering and documenting long-term supplier declarations in line with Free Trade Agreements.
Leading origin calculations and supporting strategic use of Free Trade Agreements.
Contributing to the development of our customs IT landscape and supporting system implementations.
Participating in onboarding projects for new suppliers and customers.
Engaging with external stakeholders such as trade groups and customs authorities to influence and stay ahead of regulatory developments.

About You
You are a self-driven and curious professional who thrives in a dynamic environment. You enjoy helping others, proactively seek out opportunities to grow your expertise, and are comfortable taking initiative without waiting for a to-do list. You have a strong ability to connect the dots, communicate clearly, and build relationships across functions.
We believe you have:
A Bachelor's degree in Law, Logistics, Supply Chain, International Relations, or a related field.
Solid experience in trade compliance and customs, preferably with both export and import.
Knowledge of Free Trade Agreements and customs regulations.
Experience working with customs documentation and classification.
Strong communication skills in both Swedish and English.
Tullverket training or similar certifications are a plus.

Location and Work Setup
The role is based in Huskvarna, with a hybrid setup. We value on-site collaboration 2-3 days per week, but are open to candidates based in Stockholm and Gothenburg who can travel to Huskvarna monthly.
Your Application
