The team consists of three main areas: Customer Solutions, Service Management and Innovation & Development.

As Customer Solutions Manager you follow very closely our customers' needs and the market's trends, define our long term roadmaps, propose new services, trigger respective projects and drive them to full deployment. You also initiate and lead innovation in new solutions from idea generation to new ventures. Main responsibility is to identify opportunities for services that can improve our customers' productivity and create new business opportunities for Volvo Buses. The role requires an agile, networked way of working as well as an open mindset and passion to deliver value for our customers.

The position reports to the Manager for Productivity Services & Connectivity.

Key Responsibilities*Actively seek new opportunities for Volvo Bus and its customers by identifying, scoping and driving new productivity services from identification to roll-out
• Lead or participate in strategic discussions aiming to explore and conceptualize future offerings and solutions to reach set goals
• Keep track on trends and competitor movements within the connectivity and transport productivity domains related to Volvo Bus business, e.g. public transport, BRT, electromobility, and fleet management
• Assess and collaborate with external partners with the purpose to explore new opportunities and build valuable partnerships

Location & Timeline
The position is based in Gothenburg, Sweden. We have the ambition to support and interact with our markets worldwide so therefore there is a need for planned frequent traveling.

Competence Profile & Qualifications*Proven experience from domains related to Volvo Bus business areas, e.g. public transport, BRT, electromobility, ITS and fleet management, combined with experience in connectivity
• Ability to proactively identify, package and communicate new business opportunities and long term visions
• Experience of leading cross functional teams in different phases from, idea development to commercialization
• Experienced in working with external partners, including large strategic partners and small start-up 's, on a global arena to create new business offerings
You need to have passion for your goals, be well-organized, open minded and eager to learn, as well as being innovative and bold to challenge existing ways of doing things We believe the successful candidate has operational experience from working with connectivity-based business solutions in a global environment within the area of transport solutions. Ability to think new, personal credibility, integrity and creativity are crucial personal characteristics. You are a social person with strong relationship capabilities and enjoy working with others in flexible team constellations. You have a passion for business, technology and an interest in people. You are a team player and comfortable with high level of uncertainty.

You have a Master's degree or equivalent as the basis for your career. You have a relevant academic education in engineering and/or business administration. You can express yourself in Swedish and English in both speech and writing. The successful candidate will have shown a winning attitude and great persona in combination with a strong track record and references. As a person you are a tech savvy team player with an ability to drive technological developments based on business needs.
