Surface Chemistry a business unit of AkzoNobel, operates in 50 countries, employing over 1500 people. Based in Chicago, IL, United States with regional marketing centers in Bridgewater, NJ, United States, Singapore and Stenungsund, Sweden, we are leading supplier of specialty surfactants and synthetic and bio-polymers additives. We service a wide range of industries including agro, asphalt, cleaning, fabric care, mining, personal care and petroleum.
We have an immediate opening for an individual who can fulfil the following role as Customer Service Team Leader (CS TL) for Surface Chemistry EMEIA in Stenungsund.
The position has two main focuses, to work as a CSR with order handling together with your team, and to manage the team in their daily work.
The main tasks and responsibilities are:
Customer Service Representative
• Review customer enquiry/request before making Sales Quotation or Sales Order.
• Receipt of orders, input into SAP, order status control, monitoring, invoicing and follow up.
• See to that customer orders are entered accurate and on time.
• Check stock availability.
• Provide information, internally and externally.
• Provide required documentation and be responsible for returns handling and complaints.
• Take initiative to contact customers and sales when order fulfilment problems occur.
Customer Service TL
• Manage the Export team to be more customer oriented and more dedicated to the relevant countries and its legislation.
• Manage the CS and quality assurance of the service provided to both internal and external customers. Interact with Sales and Marketing, Purchasing, Production, Data management and other departments in fulfilling the requirements of the job.
• Coordinates department related management interactions with all service groups and the European team.
Job requirements
• Academic degree in Economy or Logistics or corresponding experience/competence.
• A few years of working experience from customer service, preferably in a similar role with management experience.
• Knowledge of SAP and especially the OTC flow.
• Customer service oriented.
• High social competence and ability to build long term relationship.
• Good knowledge in English and Swedish additional language skills is considered a merit.
• Skills in MS Office package
