hela Sverige As a Customer Service Associate within Ocean Freight you will become part of a dynamic and diversified ocean freight team with true growth ambitions. You will mainly focus on Export volumes where you will be responsible for deliver and further develop our operational Export deliveries and provide customers with regular proactive updates on their cargo bookings.
Your responsibilities will amongst other be to:
• Handle Export clients and shipment from A to Z (from booking to financial settlements)
• Ensure correct treatment for each shipment (handle B/L's, customs documentation, stakeholder contacts)
• Help develop a continuous development mindset in both the way we work and the way we do our business.
• Do customer visits with sales representative to sell our freight forwarding solutions.
• Administrative tasks such as invoicing, quotation, system updates etc.
• Act as backup on import shipments.
We believe the candidate we are searching for has/is:
• Previous experience from the freight forwarding business working with export volumes. Preferably you come with a mixed experience of export, import and cross trade solutions.
• Great communication skills and able to tackle challenges proactivity.
• A natural curiosity and thrive when solving problems and taking ownership.
• Ability to prioritize combined with good planning skills
• Well organized with strong attention to detail
• A team player with a "can do" attitude
• Master English and Swedish on business level
• A university degree within logistics or similar educational background within freight forwarding is an advantage.
We are looking for a new member to join our Customer Service team that is responsible for delivering best in class Ocean freight services to our customers. Our aim is to build a long-term cooperation and relationship with our customers, where we as a professional partner in transportation, logistics and freight forwarding solutions perform our delivery towards the customer with the highest quality.
A great opportunity to make an impact - you will in this role will be a key resource in order to further define and develop our Ocean freight solutions for Export volumes, in close collaboration with the Commercial team and Ocean product.
The position will through the day to day interaction with both customers, vendors and colleagues around the globe offer lots of challenges and opportunities to positively impact a future career with Damco and the Maersk Group.
