Power solutions is a business area, with responsibility to develop and market power systems and services for a broad range of industrial and marine applications. The business is managed as a "Company within the company", based on synergies from the commercial vehicles. The sales track record shows an significant growth over the past years which we are very proud of.
At Technical Development, within Power Solutions, we focus on development and adaptation of combustion engine systems as well as electrified solutions and their performance throughout the complete project and product lifecycle. We do this together with our colleagues and costumers. Our starting point is always the customer need, but we also keep closely connected to Scania 's modular system to leverage the synergy potential.
Our current heads of testing teams will take up new assignments within Scania, and we are looking for their successors.
Your tasks
As head of Laboratory Operations you are responsible for the testing process at Power Solutions. You and your team of engineers and mechanics are working with field testing, hardware rig testing and prototype preparations.
As head of Calibration & Performance you are responsible for the physical and environmental performance of the engine. Your team of engineers are working with calibration of the controlsystem and software of the engine, emissions testing including certification test and reporting.
Your profile
You have documented experience as a leader. And your are fluent in swedish and english. You have a university degree in engineering or gained knowledge by experience. Either way you are used to balance different needs and aspects and find a common way forward. We expect you to be interested in, and be enthusiastic about technical development but even more important is that you have the ability to keep an organized, yet dynamic planning and balance the needs of a customer oriented business, with those of our long term strategic projects. Powertrain, testing and managerial experiences are considered as merits.
