hela Sverige The Customer Finance Manager is responsible for driving, developing, and executing trade and export finance solutions for independent dealers and key customers in a select number of countries within Sales Region EMEA.
Whilst keeping a commercial focus, the Customer Finance Manager shall have acumen to minimize credit risk and reduce capital tied up. A prerequisite for success is ability to develop and maintain an effective cooperation with a number of stakeholders across the sales organization, independent dealers, banks, Export Credit Agencies (ECA's), etc.
You will report to the Director Customer Finance & Risk, Volvo CE EMEA and you will be based in Eskilstuna.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Create, drive and execute finance solutions to key customers and independent dealers
• Manage and execute customer finance discussions/negotiations with banks, independent dealers, key customers, etc.
• Set the financing targets and plans to achieve the commercial targets set for the assigned markets, i.e. making sure that financing is an integral part in the sales process.
• Establish, develop, and maintain a network among local and foreign banks, ECA's, private insurance companies, etc. to facilitate the commercial targets of customer financing in your assigned markets.
• Assess and mitigate the (credit) risks in the provided financing solutions
EDUCATION & PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
• University degree, ideally an advanced degree such as an MBA from a recognized university
• Minimum 3 years of export/trade, sales or structured finance experience gained with a financial institution or large exporter
• Proven credit/financial analytical experience
• Experience working in an international and multi cultural environment
• Experience of working in the commercial vehicle and/or construction equipment industry (optional)
COMPETENCIES & SKILLS
• Solid knowledge from trade/export financing and/or asset based financing
• Target-driven, self-motivated and willing to take on responsibility
• Analytical ability, including credit analysis
• Good negotiation and commercial skills
• Excellent spoken and written English skills
• High standard of professionalism and operate with integrity (The Volvo Way)
• Ability to network effectively across a diverse customer base and to build enduring relationships across functional and geographical areas.
