Signs On Demand is one of Europe's leading suppliers of labelling and signage for electrical, plumbing, ventilation and technical installations.
We are growing across Europe and are now looking for a French-speaking Customer Support colleague to strengthen our French market.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, solving problems and making sure customers get the help they need.
The Role
As our Customer Support – France, you will be the main point of contact for many of our French-speaking customers.
Your main focus will be to make sure customers receive fast, helpful and professional support throughout their experience with Signs On Demand – from their first questions through to ordering, delivery and after-sales support.
You will work closely with our French market team and colleagues across Sales, Marketing, Production and Logistics in Sweden and Germany.
Your Main Responsibilities
Handle customer enquiries by email and phone in French
Help customers with product questions, orders and general support
Follow up on orders, deliveries and shipping issues
Handle complaints and find practical solutions to customer problems
Help customers understand our products and online ordering process
Support customers with quotations, registrations and orders when needed
Coordinate with production, logistics and sales teams to resolve customer issues
Keep customer information and cases updated in our systems
Collect customer feedback and communicate recurring issues or improvement ideas to the team
Help build strong, long-term relationships with our French customers
Support the French market team with other customer-related activities when needed
Who Are You?
We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys helping people and who takes pride in giving customers a good experience.
You are probably someone who:
Is a native or fluent French speaker
Has excellent written and spoken French
Is comfortable communicating with customers by email and phone
Is organised and able to keep track of several customer cases at the same time
Is good at finding solutions rather than simply passing problems on
Has a friendly, professional and service-minded approach
Is comfortable working independently but also enjoys being part of a team
Is confident using computers and learning new systems
Has good attention to detail and follows things through to completion
Previous experience in customer service, customer support, sales support, administration or e-commerce is an advantage, but we are also interested in the right personality and attitude.
A Little More Than Customer Support
Although customer support will be the main focus of the role, you will also have the opportunity to contribute to the development of our French market.
You may, for example, help identify recurring customer needs, suggest improvements to our website or products, support marketing activities or help customers discover solutions that are relevant to them.
So, if you enjoy customer service but also have a bit of a commercial mindset, that's a big plus.
