NordMarkets.com is a young international team who provides foreign exchange services to institutional and retail clients through the electronic trading platform FXDesk. Our mission is to provide our clients with cutting edge technology, fast execution, high level customer service and safety of funds.
PURPOSE OF JOB
You will initially work as a Junior Associate with the following tasks:
1. Contact people who have shown interest in trading
2. Demonstrate our systems and products by telephone and web conference and demonstrate the advantages over our competitors
3. Convert the prospectus to the customer
4. Administrate and provide support to existing customers
5. Manage their Desk (Arab eloquent example, will be responsible for "Middle Eastern Desk", Russian for "Russian and Eastern European Desk", and so on (translation of shorter analyses and reports, the function of marketing to the language through various channels, web sites, expo abroad, and so on).
WE WILL EDUCATE YOU
The education will cover the foreign exchange basis, the actors to control the market, how to act in the market, macro-economic grounds, terminology, technology and IT introduction in Finance.
DAY TO DAY
Each morning the group goes through what has happened in the market and what is expected to take place during the day. You must quickly become familiar with foreign exchange and macro-economic events that affect the entire world's financial systems and be able to pass this on to the customer to do business and be able to keep a proper dialogue, both in English and their "mother tongue". Working times are long and can be challenging at certain times.
YOUR FUTURE CAN BE
1. To become a Senior Associate with responsibility for the agents.
2. To proceed to the Institutional Desk (where they only work with financial institutions and High Networth customers).
3. Responsibility of NordMarkets future regional offices (Dubai, Moscow, the Sao Paulo and Singapore are in the pipeline coming years when the right candidates are).
