Description

The Food Technology team of Tetra Recart® is looking for a Culinary advisor to generate product ideas that lead to new launches, excitement among existing customers and contribute generally to the impression of Tetra Recart® as a professional partner providing food knowledge in addition to the product portfolio.
Tetra Recart® is the first retortable carton package designed for shelf-stable products traditionally filled in cans, glass jars or pouches.
Food Technology is a part of Sales & Technical support and our main emphasis is to support the sales organisation with food expertise. Our role, as a team, is to understand the relation between food, package, pre- & thermal processes, and storage. Your specific role, as Culinary Advisor, will be focused on the culinary quality aspects in collaboration with our customers.
The position includes an average of 20% travelling.
Main responsibilities
• Hands on work in developing and adapting food product recipes to the Tetra Recart concept
• Proactive development of new ideas within the Tetra Recart® core categories within the pasteurized and sterilized segments
• Represent and present Tetra Recart at customer visits and exhibitions
• Support customers to expand their business through range extensions
Qualifications
We are looking for a strong communicator and team player who enjoy sharing knowledge and new ideas. You are creative, enjoy problem solving and have a calm approach when facing new challenges. You are self-motivated, driven and have an ability to inspire and gain trust from customers.
To be successful you are educated at a certified culinary school. Your experience comes from development work within the food industry and restaurant/food service operations. Experience from scaling up kitchen style recipes into industrial processes is necessary. You also need to understand the special challenges and requirements related to food safety and cost constraints. Experience from canning of food is a merit. A very good command of English, both written and oral is required as well as good knowledge in MS Office.
