Dockspot is a small product company founded in Gothenburg in 2009. They offer an online booking service for guest marinas and boat owners. They describe the product itself as "Hotels.com but for marinas" and offers a modern and friendly service to every boater and a complete and scalable solution for the marina owner's business. Through international cooperation with its stakeholders, Dockspot offers marina owners the opportunity to deliver the perfect hosting. The marina industry has a strong tradition and Dockspot wants to be a part of moving the guest harbor industry from a parking lot to a natural part of the hospitality industry. They currently have about 100 marinas in different countries using their service.

As part of Dockspot, you will play an important role in the small business. At the moment there are three employees and a couple of consultants who develops the Dockspot platform available at

As the development team today is small, they are looking for a person who has a long-term perspective and will have the possibility to grow into a CTO position within the development team. You will work closely with business as well as users and will be integral in building the company culture forward.
Requirements
To be the one they are looking for, you have:
Worked with development for a few years
Experience of working with Ruby on rails
A genuine business mindset
The ability to speak and write fluent English
An extra plus if you have:
Experience from working in a small and growing company
Experience of working with JavaScript
A genuine interest in UX design
The ability to speak and write fluent Swedish

Dockspot's office is located in the center of Gothenburg. Just a couple of minutes' walk from the Central Station. The culture is strongly connected to the principle of freedom under responsibility.
