Job Description
Do you want to work across different teams and functions in a fully international IT organization? Are you an organizational talent with great communications skills? As Cross Functional Manager, you will have a strategical important key position and be responsible of managing cross application topics involving all teams within our SAP department, being a member of our management team. We are looking for someone with a strong technical background and ability to lead and coordinate among our SAP competence domains.
As Cross Functional Manager you will be responsible for cross functional platform activities such as:
Receiver of cross functional project assignments and responsible for a setting up an appropriate project and maintenance organization for IT projects
Responsible for the governance and the implementation of certain cross functional systems
Responsible for coordinating the handover to maintenance of cross functional platform projects
Proactive contribution to the support and maintenance of cross functional applications
Analyse and solve problems in IT processes, methods and strengthen the cooperation across the teams
Follow developments in the IT market for best practices, identify potential improvements in cross functional platforms and translate the market information into concrete improvement initiatives
Coordinate cross functional and cross team alignment and improvement initiatives within a project and for the maintenance
Single Point of Contact (SPOC) and coordinator for defined cross application areas and solutions
Reoccurring alignment with the defined governance organization
Qualifications
Your Profile:
We are looking for someone with demonstrated ability to work independently, who thrives by taking ownership of initiatives, creating valuable results and motivating teams and functions. You have a high level of communication skills as well as ability to deal with 'political' challenges. You are proactive with a result-driven attitude with a strong focus on coordination and cooperation. Since we have an international IT organization, you need to communicate in English fluently.
Who are we looking for?
You have experience as IT project manager or coordinator in international cross functional projects and teams
It is a bonus if you have a technical background of SAP solutions but this is flexible
Knowledge about IT infrastructure and ITIL processes is beneficial
You have a relevant bachelor or master's degree or equivalent experience
Its beneficial to have knowledge in the area of SAP systems and their technical foundation
You have a strong interest in establishing common solutions that support all parts of corporate IT
